I am certainly a big fan of Judith Hanson Lasater other works, I naturally anticipating its latest offering: "a year of your Yoga." Borrowing on the theme of its popular publication, "Living Your Yoga" Lasater has created a style of daily meditation, a book that gives bite sized wisdom that you can use every day. Each day there is a proverb with a suggestion of how to apply it to your daily life. For those who want to live their yoga and not just "do" yoga is a nice way to do it.

A little book with big impact
I was already a fan of Judith Lasater for her restorative yoga poses. I now begin every day with her daily reading as I sip my coffee.
Short and concise meditations, the perfect way to start the day with a positive and uplifting thought. A helpful reminder of what is really important in our (often) hectic lives.
This is a fantastic book to use if you are a yoga teacher. It gives great ideas for class themes, or to use in your own practice. The writings are thought provoking and uplifting. A good read, even if you don’t practice yoga.

Not what I expected
This book gives you a statement a day, more along the lines of meditation. I was expecting something along the lines of a yoga pose/movement a day which this book did not provide.

I got this book at the end of 2008 and deciced to wait until 2009 to start it. Obviously, I have not gone through all of the daily practices yet, but so far, I am loving this…
